This is the short one. If you are already in Altrincham you are about a mile and a half away. A cab from the Interchange is rarely more than five pounds, the walk up through The Downs takes roughly twenty five minutes, and if you drive there is free parking directly outside the door, which is more than the town centre can offer you on a Saturday.

The studio sits just up the hill in Bowdon, on a farm site off Priory Road. Close enough that you can walk out of a meeting on Railway Street and be sat in front of a microphone twenty minutes later. Far enough that there is no traffic bleed, no upstairs neighbour and no one hammering scaffolding through take four.
You do not need to own any kit. Book two hours, turn up, and talk. Three cameras, lighting and microphones are already set. A videographer and a sound technician stay in the room with you for the whole session. The edit comes back inside three working days.

Twenty minutes
from the Interchange,
on foot or by cab
Driving. Head south out of the town centre on the A56 towards Bowdon, then up to Priory Road. It is roughly a mile and a half. Free parking on site.
Tram and train. Altrincham Interchange is the terminus of the Metrolink Altrincham line and a stop on the Mid-Cheshire rail line. From the Interchange it is a short taxi ride, or a walk of about twenty five minutes if the weather is behaving.
Guests travelling in. If someone is coming from Manchester, tell them to get off at Altrincham. It is the easiest meeting point in the area and the last leg is a five minute cab.

Most bookings come from a twenty mile ring around Bowdon. If your town is not listed, it is almost certainly still an easy run.

Altrincham Interchange is the end of the Metrolink Altrincham line, so anyone coming from Manchester, Sale or Timperley can tram straight in. The last leg from the Interchange to Bowdon is a short taxi ride.

Yes. The studio is in Bowdon, so Hale, Hale Barns, Timperley and Dunham are all within about ten minutes.
What does a session cost?

Can I walk from Altrincham town centre?
Yes. It is about a mile and a half up through The Downs and takes roughly twenty five minutes at a normal pace. Most people with kit or guests take a cab from the Interchange instead, which is a five minute run.
Do you film business video as well as podcasts?
Constantly. The same room, cameras and crew do founder films, testimonial sets, recruitment videos and explainer pieces. A lot of Altrincham firms book two hours and come out with seven or eight separate business videos rather than one podcast episode.
How quickly do I get the episode back?
Three working days for the full edit in normal conditions, including colour grade, angle cuts and audio clean-up. Short vertical clips come with it.
I have never recorded anything before. Is that a problem?
