Two easy ways out of town. The Altrincham Metrolink line runs from St Peter's Square to the Interchange in about thirty five minutes, and it is a four minute cab from there. Driving is roughly nine miles down the A56 or out on the M56 to junction 7, usually half an hour outside rush hour, and the parking at this end costs nothing instead of four pounds an hour.

Nine miles south,

Driving. The A56 runs from the city centre through Old Trafford, Stretford and Sale into Altrincham, then up into Bowdon. Roughly nine miles, usually half an hour. The faster alternative is the M60 to the M56 and off at junction 7, the Bowdon junction.
Tram. The Metrolink Altrincham line runs from St Peter's Square, Deansgate Castlefield and Cornbrook to Altrincham Interchange in about thirty five minutes, with trams every six minutes in the day. From the Interchange it is a short taxi.
Guests travelling in. Manchester Airport is fifteen minutes from the studio, which is quicker than the airport to the city centre. If you are interviewing someone flying in, this is the easier end of town.

Most bookings come from a twenty mile ring around Bowdon. If your area is not listed, it is almost certainly still an easy run.

How far is it from Manchester city centre?
About thirty minutes by car, straight down the M56 corridor. Fifteen minutes from Manchester Airport, and quick from Altrincham, Hale and Sale.
Can I get there by tram or train?
Altrincham is on the Metrolink and the rail network, and the studio is a short taxi ride from there. If your guests are travelling in, Altrincham is the easiest meeting point.
Is there parking?
Yes, free and on site at Priory Farm, right by the door. Loading in kit or guests is straightforward.
Do you record in Manchester itself?
The studios are here in Bowdon, which is where the acoustic treatment, lighting and multi-camera setup live. For most people the drive is quicker than finding parking in town.

How long does it take to get here from Manchester city centre?

Why not just book a studio in the city centre?
Plenty of people do, and some of them are good rooms. The difference here is that one price covers three sets, a videographer and a sound technician in the room, and the full edit. In town you usually rent the room and pay for everything else separately.
Do you film business video as well as podcasts?
Constantly. Founder films, testimonial sets, recruitment videos and short answer pieces for a website. A lot of Manchester firms book two hours and leave with seven or eight separate videos rather than one podcast episode.

It does. The airport is about fifteen minutes from the studio, which is quicker than the airport to the city centre. You can collect someone and be recording inside half an hour.
