Editing

Three tiers.
Pick your ceiling.

Every session already comes with a proper long-form edit at no extra cost. These tiers are for when you want more than proper.

The tiers

What each one
actually changes

Tier 1 is included with every booking. Tier 2 adds branding and removes filler completely. Tier 3 is for the pieces that need to be built rather than cut.

Choosing

Which tier
do you need?

Honestly, most shows never need to leave Tier 1. Here is when it is worth moving up.

Stay on Tier 1 if

  • You publish regularly and consistency matters more than polish
  • Your audience mostly listens
  • You are still finding the format

Move to Tier 2 when

  • You have guests and want their name on screen
  • The show needs to look the same every week
  • Filler words are getting in the way of the point
  • You are pitching sponsors

Go to Tier 3 for

  • Launch trailers and campaign films
  • Pieces that need data or diagrams on screen
  • Anything where the story has to be rebuilt in the edit

If you want the word-by-word treatment and a shoot planned around it from the start, look at the Pro Studio Session instead.

Editing plus everything after

Editing is the middle
of the job

A finished file still has to be titled, thumbnailed, described and uploaded, every single week. That is where most shows fall over.

Our management package picks up from the export: custom thumbnails, titles, descriptions and hashtags written for reach, and uploads to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and the rest. The £500 tier includes 20 to 80 short-form clips at no extra cost. The £300 tier covers one to two episodes a month, with clips added separately.

Both tiers include creative direction and performance reviews with Morgan on a fair-use basis, whenever you feel you need them.

Questions

Editing questions

How is Tier 2 priced exactly?

£150 per hour of raw footage, not per hour of finished episode. A two-hour session that becomes a 70-minute episode is charged on the two hours.

How many revisions do I get?

As many as you need. Revisions are unlimited and free on every tier, and we would rather you asked than lived with something you were not happy with.

Can you edit footage I recorded somewhere else?

Yes. Remote editing is something we do regularly. Send us the files and we will quote on the footage rather than a studio session.

What is the turnaround?

Tier 1 runs from 24 hours to seven working days, usually landing around three. Tier 2 and Tier 3 take longer and get a firm date when the work is agreed. If something is urgent, say so and we will work around it.

What do you edit in?

DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Audition for the long-form work, with Descript in the mix for word-level editing. You do not need to care about any of that, but people ask.

Do the 20 AI shorts get checked by a human?

Yes. They are generated from the session, then looked over before they reach you. If a clip cuts badly we will re-cut it.

Next step

Not sure which
tier you need?

Take fifteen free minutes. Bring an episode you are not happy with and we will tell you what would actually fix it.
