Hi, I'm Morgan
I built Cheshire Podcast Studio because I kept meeting people with something worth saying and nowhere decent to say it.
Thirteen years
behind a camera
I have spent thirteen years in film and photography. A first-class degree in Film Practice from London South Bank University, then work across Netflix, Disney, the BBC and ITV, including time on The Witcher.
What I kept noticing was the gap. Big productions had lighting, sound and crew that made everything look effortless. Everyone else was recording into a laptop in a spare room and wondering why it did not look right. The difference was never talent. It was access.
So in summer 2024 I opened a studio in Bowdon with the kit and the crew of a proper production, at a price a business or a solo creator could actually justify. That was the whole idea, and it has not changed since.
My mission is to offer high-quality podcasts at a low cost, with nothing compromised to get there.

Four things I refuse
to compromise on
The lighting is film lighting
Amaran P2C tubes used as backlights, modified and softened so faces sit flat and even. It is the single biggest reason footage looks expensive, and the thing most studios skip.
The audio chain is broadcast
Four Shure MV7X microphones into a Zoom PodTrak P4 on separate XLR channels, in acoustically treated rooms. Separate channels mean one loud guest cannot ruin the whole recording.
You are never left alone with it
A videographer and a sound technician stay in the room for the full session, watching the monitors. If something is wrong we catch it there, not three days later in the edit.
The edit is included, properly
Colour grade, angle cuts, audio clean and dead air removed, at no extra cost, with unlimited free revisions. Not a trailer. The actual episode.
More than a room
with microphones in it
Some people want a studio for two hours. Some want the whole thing taken off their hands. Both are fine.
Recording
Podcasts, video content, audiobooks, online courses and business photography. Including turning a book into a filmed course with the editing to match.
Session pricingPost-production
DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Audition, from a straightforward long-form cut through to motion graphics and full narrative reshaping.
Editing tiersStrategy and growth
Consultancy on format, hooks and distribution, or full monthly management covering thumbnails, titles, clips and uploads.
ConsultancyWhat people say
once they have been
Every review on our Google listing is five stars. Here are a handful, in their own words.
Morgan is so welcoming, warm and lovely to be around. Beautiful decor, great lighting. Excited to come back and film content again.
Morgan was brilliant and gave me the full rundown and tour of what they can offer. Loved all the different options and styles.
His wealth of experience really shone through. He made us feel completely at ease.
A versatile space that could accommodate formal shots, informal lounge seating and exciting backgrounds.
Morgan made sure that everything was set up well, which meant that I could sit back and watch.
So easy to personalise with branding for your podcast. Fabulous experience and cannot wait to work with them again.

Based in Bowdon,
working across the region
The studio sits at Priory Farm on Priory Road in Bowdon, fifteen minutes from Manchester Airport and thirty from central Manchester. Clients come from Altrincham, Hale, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Chester, Warrington, Liverpool and the city itself.
Some of the shows recorded here you may already know. Others are people three episodes into their first season who had never sat behind a microphone before. Both matter to me, and they get the same room and the same crew.
We have also filmed alongside names that bring their own audience with them, including Freddie Flintoff and Lily Phillips, and boxing conversations with Conor Benn and Tony Bellew through First Round TV.
If you are on the fence
The most common thing people say when they arrive is that they nearly did not book, because they were not sure they had enough to talk about.
They always did. Whatever you are weighing up, take fifteen free minutes and ask. I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing, including when the honest answer is not yet. Nobody has ever been sold something here they did not need, and I would like to keep it that way.
Come and see
the place
Book a session, book a look around, or take fifteen free minutes first. Whichever is easiest.
