A new space in your local Podcast Studio

We've Expanded 🎉 ( Inspired by Diary of a CEO )

Things have been moving fast at The Podcast Studio. Since launching, we've gone from a single cosy studio to two full production spaces and now, after a run of fully booked weeks and new clients coming through the door daily, we’ve just added a brand new set inspired by the iconic look of Diary of a CEO you are going to love it.

If you watch podcasts, you’ll know that lighting, angles, and set design can make a huge difference in how polished a brand looks. I’ve always believed in keeping things high-end but accessible and this new build really sums that up utalising my lighting skills from filming interviews for Netflix and lighting Disney, BBC & more sets when I was based in London.

Meet Our New Space 📐

Curated bookcases

This new room is led by a slat wall backdrop, framed either side with curated bookcases packed full of random but beautiful objects ( Everything from retro cameras to unique books ). I wanted it to feel intriguing without distracting. Something that gives character but also frames the guest in a way that naturally pulls focus.

The design gives off exactly what I was aiming for clean, cinematic, editorial without feeling corporate or sterile.

The whole room is built around the perfect shot and that extends to the option to film YouTube style videos from it!

Lighting Inspired by Netflix & Diary of a CEO 🎬

Because of my background working on major productions for Netflix and Disney, I’ve become a bit obsessive (in a good way) about light. For this space, I literally paused scenes from Diary of a CEO, pulled out references, analysed shadows and how the light falls on a face, and then recreated the entire lighting profile in our studio.

The result is a soft but dramatic look, with backlight to separate you from the background and flattering tones across the face. It’s moody, pro, and just looks class on camera.

So why are we Expanding (And What It Means for You)

The demand over the last few months has been growing. More and more people are stepping into podcasting some for business growth, some to build personal brands, some just because they’ve got something they need to say.

Our original studio sessions were booking up so fast that I knew we needed to expand. I wanted this next space to offer real variation for clients. So whether you’re going for business-formal, cosy-casual, or viral-TikTok energy, you’ve got options. Of course, both rooms come with everything included: multicam 4K, pro audio, on-set support, full editing, and quick turnaround. No hidden charges. No tech headaches. Just show up alone or with a guest.
